In his famous "Tono story"

It is an anniversary of Kunio Yanagita who is father of the folklore of Japan today. In his famous "Tono story", a husband met the soul of his wife who died of the tsunami caused in Sanriku Coast in the night. She turned and smiled when the name was called.
